The Singapore Armed Forces Non-Commissioned Offices (NCO) Club was set up in 1974. It took over the former Britannia Club that the British armed forces had built in 1951 along Beach Road for its troops.

In 1994, the NCO Club was renamed the SAF Warrant Offices & Specialists Club. In 2002, the club was relocated to Jurong East and became known as The Chevrons.
