This logo depicts the town council's aspirations to work with residents to "Enhance the physical living environment", "Extend helping hands to each other" and "Encourage harmony and bonding in the neighbourhood".

The town council was formed from the merger of Jalan Besar Town Council and neighbouring divisions after the 2011 general elections. In 2015, it was dissolved and the reconstituted Jalan Besar Town Council retained this logo design.
