To keep up with the trends and reflect its new directions, Singapore's public housing agency, the Housing and Development Board (HDB), updated its two-decades old logo. The new design was simpler and more streamlined, doing away with the red bricks and blue frame that once surrounded the icon of a home. This was the work of HDB's senior graphic designer, Mr Eng Siak Loy.
