The logo for a brand of edible oil and sources manufactured by Chee Seng Oil Factory. It was founded by Lim Tai Tin during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore, and the logo's two pagodas are landmarks of the founder's hometown in Fujian, China.

"Double Pagoda" was developed by the second generation owner in the 1980s as part of a move to sell its product overseas. According to its managing director, Lim Boon Hee, the idea to create better packaging came from an American wholesaler at a Trade Development Board exhibition. He hired Su Yeang Design to redesign the company's bottles at a cost of S$15,000.
