The Neighbourhood Police Post (NPP) was formed with the introduction of community policing, an idea adapted from the Japanese Koban system. This logo is made from the letters "NPP", and topped with three dots to represent a police officer (with peaked cap and in the blue colour traditionally associated with the force) with two members of the public. The interlinked arms of the three figures symbolise co-operation and a united front against crime.
