The logo consists of the initials of the school stylised to form a ribbon-like B-shaped design. It represents the scrolls of learning and knowledge, and leads to the different paths a student takes to uphold the motto of "In word and deed". The yellow stands for honour and loyalty and the blue stands for sincerity.

The co-educational English medium school was started by the government in 1981. Its school building officially opened in 1983.
