This logo replaced a 1972 design to reflect the ministry's wider role in serving a more environmentally conscious population. It consists of three colours — blue, green and white — that represent purity and a clean environment. The round shape embodies the environment and ecosystem in which we live and the role of the ministry in protecting and conserving it.
In addition, the logo has clouds and a continuum of horizontal bands. The clouds represent clean air, while the green and blue bands represent clean land and clean water respectively.
