The biennial International Design Forum was part of a new "total national approach" to promoting design in Singapore beginning in 1991. Top designers from around the world were invited to share their expertise and there were national design pavilions to show off capabilities.
This third edition featured designers including the Alan Chan, Ron Heron and Lella and Massimo Vignelli.
