Established in 1991, Zouk introduced House music to local shores and quickly became known as the hotspot for Singapore's creative scene. The nightclub also distinguished itself with irreverent and cheeky marketing materials designed by its in-house marketing team that captured the zeitgeist of the nineties and noughties.
This series featured various artworks found within the club. It included The Original Poster from the Filmore Ballroom, San Fracisco (1967) and Tiger (1994), a calligraphy carved on wood with gold foils by Chen Ze Kan. Both were located in the Zouk's Velvet Underground.
