A nightlife destination on the fourth floor of the Peninsula Hotel. It officially opened in 1974 and was known to have introduced a revamped "Singapore-style" cabaret. Instead of sleazy joints with dance hostesses, the Golden Mile had topless stage shows, Taiwan signers, pop bands, plush seating and an air of luxury.
A year after its opening, the group launched the Golden Mikado in Hotel Royal Ramada.
