This guide was published after bus services were reorganised and officially came into operation on February 3, 1974. It was also published in English.

On the cover is a pinwheel featuring the colours of blue, red and yellow. They were the colours assigned to the three bus companies—Amalgamated Bus Company (blue), Associated Bus Services (red) and United Bus Company (yellow)—which were merged to form the Singapore Bus Services in July 1973.
