The accordion fold zine was published by a monthly Market of Artists and Designers (MAAD) that started in 2006 at the former red dot Traffic building in Maxwell Road. On the first weekend of each month, local artisans, designers and crafts makers would set up shop inside the red dot design museum to sell their wares. One of its organisers was Shannon Ong, also known as the "Mother of MAAD".
The issue's theme of "seed" was inspired by how chance encounters at MAAD had grew into something more. It was also interpreted as illustrations on the front and back by the illustrator xin. Other contributors included anngee, enqi, rage as well as darren & shaun.
The event went on for over a decade and eventually came to a closer when the red dot design museum moved out of the building.
