This tongue-in-cheek design critiques the popularity of Helvetica as a "safe" choice amongst designers in Singapore and around the world during the 2000s.
It was created by Edmund Seet, Kai Yeo and Yasser Suratman. The trio first met in design school at Temasek Polytechnic during the 1990s, and got together after graduation to work on projects outside their day jobs.
Besides aestheticsanonymous, they also formed GraphicTaskForce. Both groups user graphic design to comment on current affairs, the design industry and visual culture in Singapore.
