Established in 1991, Zouk introduced House music to local shores and quickly became known as the hotspot for Singapore's creative scene. The nightclub also distinguished itself with irreverent and cheeky marketing materials designed by its in-house marketing team that captured the zeitgeist of the nineties and noughties.

This event was themed around the Chinese character "科", meaning "subject". It featured deejays including technasia, project eastward, sean deans and dj cuffy.
