Held between 15 to 24 October 1965, this was the first art exhibition held at the former Singapore Conference Hall and Trade Union House (now known as Singapore Conference Hall). It was presented by the Singapore Art Society on behalf of the Ministry of Culture.
The exhibition featured over 150 works selected by artists Chen Chong Swee, Cheong Soo Pieng, Chia Wai Hon and Lim Yew Kuan. It was organised by Choy Weng Yang, who also designed this catalogue.
