The inaugural issue of the Journal of the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIAJ). The monthly magazine promised to be "a forum for the expression of their [members'] professional views and suggestions to the Council". It replaced Rumah, which became a special publication be edited by guest editorial committees.

The cover is an aerial photograph of texture created by coconut palms. It was the first of a series of four SIAJ covers that portrayed Singapore's "progression from rural to urban fabric".
