For this issue dedicated to the 2nd Afro-Asian Housing Congress held in Singapore, the magazine published a series of photographs depicting the city of Lahore, Pakistan on its cover and inside pages. These were likened to Singapore's Chinatown as both have a "sense of community amidst the present shabbiness, squalor and overcrowding".
